Politics division is blind sighted

As of 2024 the political world is a myriad of division , a place where opinions ( on both the left and right) are comprised full of hate and a desire to win in argument , where did our morals go ? 

Political division and a refusal to even hear other points of view is now widespread . We write one half of the population as " the woke elite " and the other as " right wing bigots" but when we do this we are paradoxically making any sort of political change and discourse near impossible . The more we label and dismiss the other side the more we dig ourselves into a state where people can not find a middle ground because any sort of opposition is seen as abhorrent . The truth is that people will have different opinions , some of which will not be right , correct or moral , but if we refuse to even hear other opinions we as a society will end up in a one party state . 

The sad fact is that this situation is only getting worse , I'm 15 and in my life time I have witnessed the complete breakdown of political discourse and debate .
