Q1. How did you find out about SpaceHey? 

A:  Don't remember, truthfully. Most likely saw it on TikTok or Tumblr. Always been around old-net revival spaces so I'm sure it just came up in one of them sometime.

Q2. What made you join this site?

A: Old-Net style websites really appeal to me. No algorithm or feed - less short form content. Also really interested in CSS/HTML and thought it would be cool to make a place of my own without having to slog through the trouble of making a full website. Although, it seems I've failed at the latter as I am currently working on a NeoCities site.

Q3. Do you have prior experience with forums/blogs? If so, what was it?

A: I used to run a blog on Tumblr, although I don't use that account anymore and no longer post on Tumblr - only reposting and liking content now. Maybe I'll try again someday.

Q4. What inspired your layout? How much time did you spend on it? Are you satisfied with the result?

A: Various, various things! Fear & Hunger, Lot's of fantasy - particularly Dark Fantasy - media. Other peoples layouts. I've probably spent around 12 hours on it so far by now - including just fixes and blog style coding. I'm somewhat satisfied with it. I really enjoy it, actually, but I don't think I'll feel as though any layout of mine is ever finished.

Q5. Did you befriend anyone? Can you name who?

A: Maybe? I'm not sure, really.

Q6. If you had a possibility, how would you make the site better/change it?

A: Adding IP/Permanent bans.

Q7. What is your overall experience with SpaceHey? How would you rate it?

A: I like it. I like posting, lurking, stalking profiles. It's much better now that the gore spam has died down. :-) I don't have a strict or certain rating for it. Maybe, ★★★★☆. Closer to 3 and a half, though. But, we can round up!

PART 2: The user

Q1. How do you like to be called, including pronouns? Any additional nicknames? Is it your real name or just username? If it is, what are the origins?

A: Just they, he, anything really. I prefer they and he - which is why I list them most of the time, but I don't really mind anything else.. Minus she. Even then, I'm not exactly adverse to being called she. I get called any and everything, many names and nicknames. Darren is (one of) my chosen name(s) - not my legal name. I don't care what I'm called.

Q2. If you know, what is your Zodiac Sign, MBTI, enneagram, ect..? Do you believe and/or are you into topics like these?

A: I'm a Taurus (April), Rat (Earth), ISTJ, 6w5, Mel-Phleg. I'm not sure of anything else. I don't know my full Zodiac chart. I'm into typology and such, but I'm unsure if it actually is believable or not. I think if we take types as flexible and ever-changing, then sure, it's true! But, that's not really how typology works most of the time.

Q3. What are your hobbies and what do you like spending your favorite time on? Are there any that you want to pick up but don't have the motivation/time? If you are an artist, share some of your your art here if you want!

A: I don't have any actual hobbies - at least lately. I'm really into writing but I've been lacking in that department lately. Everlasting writers block. I do a lot of worldbuilding, in my head at least. Making original characters, worlds, and such. I'm currently working on a dark/low fantasy setting with a mixture of modern and medieval elements. Think Fear & Hunger: Termina.

Q4. Do you remember what was your first fandom? Tell us about your experience with said fandom!

A: I'm not sure. I've never actually been in fandoms, really. I interact with content and such, but I usually stay away from fully integrating myself into fandoms due to the discourse surrounding them.

Q5. Let's stay positive! What things do you like about yourself?

A: My hair is nice. I take a lot of pride in my masculinity and my cultural roots. My piercings.

Q6. What's your relationship with the current world? Do you like it, or do you hate it? Why? What would you like to change about it?

A: Apathetic, or, disconnected? I really do like humanity and such but I find myself having bouts of misanthropy. There's so much to change, isn't there? I don't think I'll ever be fully content. At the very least I can change how I behave and act, and surround myself with people that will better me - and I, them.

Q7. What aspects in friendship/relationship are the most important to you? Do you have any red flags that you try to avoid in people?

A: Honesty, Trust, Forgiveness. I don't avoid people unless they seem to genuinely enjoy causing harm to others.

Q8. What things make you happy? It doesn't have to be anything major; even small things can count!

A: Soda, Music, Coding. My SSRIs and Mood Stabilizers - Joking, mostly.

Q9. Are you currently looking for friends? What about a romantic partner?

A: Yes to friends. No to a romantic partner.

Q10. Do you have any advice for people?

A: Do what makes you happy.
