I wish my mom understood things outside of "America Good, Russia Bad"

It's how she's always seen things, especially Palestine. For the longest time up to a year ago I just went along with her being vaguely pro-israel bc to her, America is supplying israel so they must be good and Russia supplies Palestine so they must be bad. I think she's still stuck on how russia used to be while she lived there as well as stories from her friends and our family, which is why I say vaguely - she doesn't like Netty either. Apparently lots of israelis don't like him and wanted him out for ages bc hes right-wing, which must mean being friends with trump and/or putin; likely no one considered Palestinians at all tho.

but back to my mom. she doesn't hate them at all, she's not a zionist. she doesn't seem to understand some things tho. she asks things like "if they hate israel so much, why do they work there?" and "aren't they jordanian by blood? why don't they just go back there?"I'm sure shes wrong about that second part, but i'm not sure how to answer. the worst thing is she's completely open to having that discussion and having her mind changed, but im physically too scared to have it. I don't know why. Man this sucks.
