I was thinking about how I wouldn’t wanna do JROTC no matter how good it looks on a piece of paper because I genuinely wouldn’t enjoy it, but is that a bad way to go about it? I think that way about everything, if I would enjoy it. Obviously I want to be successful in life, but I wanna be successful and happy. I want to be able to enjoy my everyday life without spending hours doing something I don’t enjoy. I’m not a slacker, but is that naive? I could be doing a lot of things that are beneficial to my portfolio or my transcript, but I don’t want to because I know I wouldn’t like it. And this isn’t about an anxiety thing, about how I wouldn’t enjoy something because it doesn’t look like something I like, but for example, business and marketing. Not something I’d like or be good at. I’m not very charismatic, and sitting at a screen is something I know I don’t like, so why would I do it?
Anyways I forgot my point. Or I think it was “is enjoying most of what I do a good philosophy to go by in life?”

Depend how old you are it's a fine way to go about life from my perspective. Especially, if you have a career that you "enjoy"/would like to do in mind. I also am probably not the best person to answer this question, but why have something that looks good on a resume if the resume is for something you don't want to do?
Also I don't think ROTC will help that much

It can be scary yeah, cause when you think about it it's the rest of your life y'know. I try not to think about it but that's not productive. Again, I don't have the best advice, just lock in when you need to lol
