Where is the Red Line Now?

After the debate last night, it’s more clear than ever that Kamala doesn’t really care about resolving anything in Palestine. The debate section was all the same, “We need a ceasefire deal and to get the hostages back, but remember Hamas” and “I love Israel more than you do.” Continuing to make claims of sexual assault by Hamas militants despite the fact it was proven false months ago (1), nothing in the rhetoric has changed since December 2023, but where did these red lines go? Israel has continuously violated what the US claimed would be “too far,” and Israel is doing whatever it wants; first, the line was against invading the south of Gaza, and then it was against invading Rafah after Israel didn’t listen, and now it’s against starting a regional conflict despite raids into the West Bank already underway. To pander to American sentiments, when an American citizen was killed in Israel by the IDF earlier this week - another red line that was established - nothing but a mildly worded letter to Israel was sent (2). If we set a hard line that cannot be crossed, but let the other party trample it whenever, what use are they? At this point, the Biden/Kamala admin should just state outright their true intentions, because it’s obvious that they don’t actually care about civilian casualties if they are continuing to send weapons to a country committing genocide. If a temporary ceasefire is made, and the US keeps sending weapons and money, then Israel will just be able to launch an even deadlier attack after the ceasefire is over!

The “red line” is genocide. This is not a “war” or a “conflict,” it is an attempt at destroying an entire people, and those who support a nation committing the worst crime one can commit are guilty of it as well. Over 200,000 people have been killed in the last year, that’s 1/10 of the population in Gaza (3). Any reasonable person will decry genocide, and any government giving weapons to fuel these acts should immediately suspend any support - financial or military - and punish those involved. History will absolve the Palestinians, and those who supported them.

From the River to the Sea, Palestine Will Be Free.

You realize there are videos of interrogations with Hamas terrorists admitting to gang-raping Israeli women right?
