Healing Mishaps and Uncovering Mysteries

After our exciting heist, we had another eventful day that took us from healing mishaps to uncovering some bizarre mysteries!

We had a lovely evening with Nikk-Nakk and then headed to the Little Akiton Community Center. Things took a turn when Joia tried to heal Mas’Seef. Instead of helping, she ended up hurting him pretty badly. 😬 She tried a medpatch, but she put it directly into an open wound, like…isn’t that going to make it heal worse? At this point, I was starting to think Mas’Seef might be cursed! 😫😭

After some discussion, Mas’Seef, Remy, and I decided to head to the Church of Saint Big Cheddhas to get Mas’Seef a blessing. 🤭🙌 On our way, we ran into a man named Mirren who claimed to know the Real Truth™ about the chaos at the station. 🤔 According to him, the answer was vampires. A bit bigoted, and he seemed really sure about it. 🧛‍♂️

This day was really starting to wear on me with these sorts of weird bigotry statements. I couldn’t deal anymore. 💀 I looked up his mom, Emelga, and asked him if he was sure about this anti-vampire stuff because I could confirm these theories with his mom. He immediately backed off and tried to run away. I still posted his weird racist anti-fangist rant to her socials. 💔😏

We finally made it to the church, which had the iconography of a rat hung up with its arms through the holes of Swiss cheese. 🙌 🧀Mas’Seef donated 10 credits, and the priest was able to heal some of his wounds. After a display of holy popcorn-anointed oils, we might have had the curse removed from Mas’Seef. 🙏

While we were dealing with my superstitions across the street, At the Community Center Beacon started to investigate some of our other jobs: Why is Joia ignoring Sunny’s phone calls? 🔍🕵️‍♂️ Apparently, Joia and Sunny 6 were supposed to go on a first date together, but Sunny ghosted Joia. 😓 Beacon called Sunny to find out what was going on. Turns out, Joia asked him out, but Sunny didn’t know the social etiquette rules for dating and didn’t let her know when he couldn’t make it. It got super busy at the diner and he couldn’t leave on time. 🍔🍽️ Beacon brought his coms unit over to Joia and had them talk it out over the speaker. They worked out the disagreement, but Joia was really insulted by Beacon’s rudeness at getting involved in her affairs. 🔥☹️😡 As a result, we’re now banned from the community center for an unforeseen amount of time. 😅

That was some extreme drama to come back to. 😫😭 We left Little Akiton Community Center and went over to the bodega and talked with Manee about the squonx issues. And who do we see sitting pretty on their pet pillow? RASPUTIN! 🐾 We looked around and saw evidence that the squonx couple had been in the sewers and most likely had a litter going or about to happen. 🌈🌺

While talking with Manee, I got a message from some staff at my family’s residence about the security tapes from the balcony areas. 📹 👮  It seems we are getting all our bases covered for info updates right now! For our missing person case, the tapes from my family estate showed Meldo walking through the park, unaware he was being followed. 🤔 Suddenly, he was grabbed from behind by a mysterious man with a really boxy lunchbox in one hand and our missing person slung over his shoulder! 👿💀

With the squonx issue at rest, we can check in on their mating habitat later, we headed to the park to find more info about Meldo’s abduction site. 🔍 I found some drag marks where Meldo was abducted. These marks led to a storage plaza back in Little Akiton, which appears to be the same location where Arta was when she sent us those hateful emails. 😠🔥  Following the marks, we arrived at the plaza, which was eerily quiet upon entry. 😨

This day feels like it will never end! From healing mishaps to uncovering strange mysteries, we faced it all with courage and a bit of humor. Let’s hope our car park visit ends in us just going home with nothing eventful happening. 👶🐀🥞
