Re-Normalize Heterodox Thinking

In my last blog post, I had mentioned that getting off of cancerous algorithm-driven social media newsfeeds like Facebook and Xitter was the key to re-teaching people empathy and nuance.

I think another aspect of this would be to re-normalize heterodox thinking. That is to say, thinking outside of the rigid ideological lock-step heavily encouraged by the Great Social Circlejerks of today.

I shouldn't be able to guess every opinion you have based on one other opinion. Your opinion on Bud Lite shouldn't necessarily be related to your opinion on Israel/Palestine.

This used to be the norm. You used to meet people with opinions all over the place. Things were better then.

Re-free your mind. Free yourself to believe whatever seems right to you, regardless of what "your side" might think.
