cosmic radio silence

as I lay down and watch the stars from afar

looking up so high in the sky.

they're so bright, I can still see them with my eyes ajar.

there's always beauty, I cannot deny.

I don't only look at the stars though,

I look into the vast galaxy looking for something.

something so special, it would be set aglow.

more than something amusing.
