I purposely don't over use specific things. and when I do, I usually do something with those said things, or along those said things.
sounds, smell, taste, touch. when you think you've forgotten something and you think you can't put your finger on it, your senses help you remember.
I was going through a hard time one summer. I used to listen to this one playlist all the time. it used to have a lot of my favorite rap and miscellaneous genres. as I grew and gotten happier, I moved away from that playlist. now everytime I hear one of the songs on that playlist, I get this sense of emotion. emotion I wouldn't have gotten from just thinking about those bad times.
I remember as a kid, I used to eat at this one place all the time, but for whatever reason, I stopped eating at it. a few days ago, after a good decade, I finally ate one of my favorite things to eat from there. and I finally used one of my favorite sauces. after all this time, this food and this sauce, uncovered a specific memory; a specific emotion. emotions of when I was a little kid, and everything was much easier.
don't take so many things for granted and realize things will only last for so long. but always try to remember what you had and give what you have.
