Random ramblings about stuff I've done lately. May or may not delete this later...

I just spent 6 hours fearfully watching an enormous spider until someone came by and killed it. (With a fly swatter at that! Very Impressive, and horrifying, I could never...) I am extremely afraid of bugs and have no idea how I'll ever live without a roommate to help me. In other news, I read quite a bit today and am very happy about that!! It's been a long time since I've loved a book this much. I am very much itching to read more but I have decided I should probably take a bit of a break for now. I need to find some more books to read as I currently have about 20$ to spend by I believe November? I'm not sure, I would have to double-check... I guess that is some time away, but still. I know some books I would like to read/finish reading! The Picture of Dorian Gray, Dracula, Carmilla, and Frankenstein, especially the first two. But I already own all of those and am not really interested in buying them again, so I need something new. I think I've clearly taken a liking to classical literature but I'm not all too sure where to go from there. Oh! I've suddenly remembered I do have some book recommendations from a friend, maybe I'll purchase one of those! I remember being excited after looking at a few of them. I've also been looking into emulating on my old GameCube now that I've got some new controllers. I'm not really sure how to go about it, but I'm sure I'll figure something out.. Probably through YT. Lol. I started a new Sims 2 save which has been very fun. Sims 2 on the GameCube is really like no other, it truly is my favorite version of the Sims. I love that you get to layer your clothing, it really sparks creativity and lets me make more silly and personal feeling Sims. My favorite Sims I've ever made were on the GameCube. I also really enjoy that you get to walk in the game if you know what I mean.. Like with the joystick. That and the way conversations work, Zodiacs signs, multiplayer, wall phones, newspapers, burglars, and more. I always find myself missing those features when I play Sims 4. I also just really like the way GameCube controllers feel, definitely my favorite controller to this day. I also beat Metal Slug 1 & 2, although I'm not very good at them! I'm not sure how anyone can be good at those games, they are very hard! But I still had a lot of fun! Enough to change my desktop wallpaper from Alucard to some lovely Metal Slug art by rariatoo. I would put it here but I am not sure how to post images. Oh well... It's very pretty though! It's got the main 4 characters and some cool screen tones on it. Very nice color palette as well. I could continue rambling, but I should probably feed myself something other than crackers today, lol. I'll be having chicken nuggets! The best form of chicken outside of maybe popcorn chicken. Feel free to recommend some GameCube games or books for me to look at, I would be very interested. If you finished reading this for whatever reason, I hope you enjoyed it or something.
