is this bad??

I've seen someone else blog saying that putting ur mental illnesses in ur bio is bad cuz people might take advantage of u. And they also said that ppl who do that are often dumb children who only want to "fit in".

Now, i need some help. Cuz i have OCD (diagnosed obvs) and i put that in my description, bc people know when i talk to them so that when i hyperfixate on something, i obsess over small details or maybe, idk, i have trouble being online bc of my mental state they already know and don't just think i'm "weird".

i wanted to ask, is It still a weird thing to add..? i don't want to sound like those people who romanticize mental illnesses or treat them like they are "cool" and "quirky" things...

Also, I've said that i don't rlly want majors to chat with me, (the only exception I've made was for a friend of mine who's 20 but they are fine and i know them) but I've seen someone say that it's useless and strange, and that they still might try to sound like teens anyway. So, what should i do?? i have no intention to have people trying to groom me, or adults acting creepy or too "intimate".

Thx for answers ❤ also, sorry if i made some spelling or grammar mistakes, english is not my first language!

Honestly, in your case, I think it's fine to put that on your profile, since it's something you want to make sure people that talk to you know about beforehand. Or if you don't want the public to know as much, then maybe put it in a pinned blog post that only your friends can see!

Hope this helps! :-)
