i wanna start a song of the day thing because i feel like the music i listen to needs to be shared
i did kill the fly, i grabbed an electric fly swatter that i had no clue we had and i got that thing
so you killed an animal because it was annoying you and you didn't think to let it out?

it wasnt annoying me, i am absolutely horrified of any sort of bug to where i can barely function so it was either i kill it or i dont go into my room until someone does. it didnt occur to me at the time to let it out because thats normally not my first thought

i have a fear of dogs to the point of panic attacks and i don't start kicking the shit out of any dog i see :) it doesn't have to be difficult to leave an animal alive even if you are scared of it, you can even ask someone else to let it out instead of encouraging them to destroy it, definitely start making that your first thought 👍

i want to say killing a fly is not comparable to beating a dog. i appreciate your concern and i will try to make letting it out the first thing i try before i resort to more questionable methods
