Review 10: IMSCARED

What is IMSCARED?

IMSCARED is “a pixelated nightmare” as said by the developers themselves. To be more specific IMSCARED is a first-person horror game that uses your files as the main gameplay feature. You must solve many different puzzles and challenges in order to find an escape from this nightmare. While you're being stalked by two main figures; White Face a white pixelated disembodied head and Her a white feminine figure.

What brought me into IMSCARED?

Mainly youtubers playing the game. Thankfully I didn’t fully spoil the game by watching the entire video but I got enough from the beginning for it to look interesting to play. And with only costing $4.49 while not on sale it was another good sign that the game would be fun.

Where can you play it?

Currently I believe only Steam and Itch.

Would I recommend it?

It's a decent game and for its quite cheap price it would be a good option to play for a kinda short and scarry (ish) horror game. I didn’t have many issues with the game and it was able to actually get me with some of the jumpscares from time to time.
