I am here to spread awareness, and to talk about something I have suffered with my whole life. Depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts/ideation. I had my first attempt when I was 13, and in the last 2 and a bit months Ive had another 6, because I feel sometimes so alone, and isolated, cut off from the rest of the world. Its very exhausting.
But, there are organisations out there across the world who are designed and aimed to help people like me. In the UK we have Mind, we have Samaritans. Here is a website will all the worlds various hotlines and text lines: https://blog.opencounseling.com/suicide-hotlines/ Don't be afraid to pick up the phone, these people want to help you and it isnt a weakness to ask for help. It shows strength.
I personally have my writing, that I use daily to get my thoughts and emotions out, it makes them make sense and gives me the ability to put things in order. Find some kind of self help activity, try writing, painting, birdwatching, anything that makes you calm and gets your thoughts out in a healthy manner.
If things do get to that pretty dark place, dont be afraid to call the police, or go to your friends, or your parents, even your teacher. Its a damn side better than doing something illegal and not even realising it. Dont be afraid of diagnosis or medication, it'll help you understand yourself and what you need.
Stay safe, I love you all.

I got pretty close once too! Now that I'm older I'm so glad I stuck around.
Though I do still often consider it in dark moments, mainly as a pragmatic response to a devastating chronic illness (CFS/ME) that causes a lot of suffering, minimizes my enjoyment of life, and will probably never get better.
But that's just a practical consideration. Emotionally, I'm extremely stable and happy now.
Life can get better!

P.S. www.7cups.com is a pretty great place to find a free online therapist if you want some help or just someone to talk to.
