Q1. How did you find out about SpaceHey? 

A: Reddit, I believe. I was looking for niche websites.

Q2. What made you join this site?

A: Curiosity

Q3. Do you have prior experience with forums/blogs? If so, what was it?

A: Oh sure. Reddit is the big one. Tumblr. 

Q4. What inspired your layout? How much time did you spend on it? Are you satisfied with the result?

A: Something to combine my love of nature, my nonhumanity and my current hyperfixation on Twin Peaks. All in one. I’ll probably change it again sometime. I think I spent a long while on it, at least a few days. 

Q5. Did you befriend anyone? Can you name who?

A: The many wonderful, brilliant creatures in my screen 

Q6. If you had a possibility, how would you make the site better/change it?

A: It would be helpful to see the comment when you’re replying to it instead of taking you to a whole new screen, ‘cus sometimes I need to reference back to the comment. 

Q7. What is your overall experience with SpaceHey? How would you rate it?

A: Good! It’s nice and peaceful here. A quieter change of pace social media wise.

PART 2: The user

Q1. How do you like to be called, including pronouns? Any additional nicknames? Is it your real name or just username? If it is, what are the origins?

A: Call me Hazel, no nicknames needed. I’m transmasc nonbinary, so they/he pronouns are a-okay! My name was inspired from the character from Watership Down. 

Q2. If you know, what is your Zodiac Sign, MBTI, enneagram, ect..? Do you believe and/or are you into topics like these?

A: I’m a Sagittarius. My MBTI the last time I took it is INFP- T. While I’m interested in both of these topics, I don’t believe them to define a person exactly. Zodiacs in particular I find hard to believe, or rather I chose not to let them determine my life trajectory.

Q3. What are your hobbies and what do you like spending your favorite time on? Are there any that you want to pick up but don't have the motivation/time? If you are an artist, share some of your your art here if you want!

A: As of late I’ve been experimenting with DJing, just mucking about. I’ve also been investing more time learning about fitness and nutrition. Biking and exploring are another favorite pastime, and photography too if I bring my fancy camera. I also draw a bit and do some design work for a living. 

Q4. Do you remember what was your first fandom? Tell us about your experience with said fandom!

A: I believe it was either Creepypasta or How to Train your Dragon. Either way it was fine. 

Q5. Let's stay positive! What things do you like about yourself?

A: I like the way my hair looks, and the fact that I never had to wear braces. I appreciate my ethnic background and how diverse it is. 

Q6. What's your relationship with the current world? Do you like it, or do you hate it? Why? What would you like to change about it?

A: I am always a bit disconnected from the world. I feel a constant hangover of sorts from being alive. As if the way I am currently in this body prevents me from engaging with the world, or perhaps I am not supposed to be this way. I appreciate the beauty that the world can give, greatly appreciate, but I don’t know if I coexist with that beauty well enough. I couldn’t change the world, but I can change myself.

Q7. What aspects in friendship/relationship are the most important to you? Do you have any red flags that you try to avoid in people?

A: Having respect, kindness and being open-minded to each other’s beliefs. Reciprocating conversations, engaging in what each of us have to say. And also being the truest forms of each other - honesty. I enjoy those who fall outside of traditional norms, I find comfort amongst the obscurities…

Q8. What things make you happy? It doesn't have to be anything major; even small things can count!

A: Knowing that someone out there wants me around a little bit longer, knowing that I’m someone special in a person’s eye. The sky, sunsets in particular. My cat makes me happy. Knowing that I’m apart of something larger than myself.

Q9. Are you currently looking for friends? What about a romantic partner?

A: I am always open to making friends. 

Q10. Do you have any advice for people?

A: Take it easy on yourself, it’s your first time alive, after all. One day at a time, come what may.
