Anniversary of a Dictatorship?

Oh I was supposed to say "Happy July 4"? what's happy about it?

The Supreme Court just decided that a president is immune from prosecution for anything they declare to be an "official act".

Nationwide, there's a continued attack on LGBTQ+ rights, and stripping away the right to protest, and to due process...

Women and persons who have uteruses continue to have their autonomy stripped away while being told "You're overreacting". They said Roe V Wade was safe. Spoiler it wasn't. Then they said birth control is safe. Now some states are trying to ban it.

People can barely afford their rent, their groceries or just to live and exist in this capitalist hellscape. On top of that, SCOTUS also ruled that municipalities can declare sleeping outside illegal, and further punish the homeless. Being homeless is (even moreso) illegal now in some places.

If you aren't rich or white, you're now at risk of becoming part of the prison labor system.

It's a continued parade of the government pissing on us all and then telling us it's raining.

What exactly are we celebrating? Nothing worth celebrating imo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
