It's best to keep online relationships at acquaintance level, or at most gaming partner.
Unless you plan on meeting irl, you'll never really know what they're about.
eh yeah thats understandable ig, tbf i always talk about meeting with all my online friends but its an unlikely thing to happen xD
Trying to do a relationship long distance is a new thing to me but the distance is only 4hrs so i figured might as well give it a shot lol i dont see it working out in the end tbh but oh well

Only reason I ever dated anyone out of my city was because there was an intercity bus line that went almost directly to his house.
Otherwise, I haven't met anyone else I met initially online other than my mom's old AOL buddy and his family back in the 90s.
Online dating has always turned into some sort of travesty. One time I got stranded in Florida! When I got there, I called her phone from the airport and her mom picked up and said that she forgot to message me that she got back with her ex literally the morning after we planned my flight.
Wasn't all bad. Made it back to my home state and made a fun, temporary friend on the Greyhound ride back.

It can be pretty easy to get caught up in it. Just take the time once in a while to look at it like your best friend is doing what you're doing, and if you'd approve. ;)
