the lights from the TV was when i first knew that those who were responsible were men in blue. it hit me that when your knees touched the ground, nobody uttered a single sound. you've given your 5 children enough fresh air to live but your last words were “i can't breathe.” we all bleed red, we all must grieve but this tragic incident was kept beneath.

black lives matter is a community we forged to honor this innocent man we call “George.” a cruel and vile place this world has been where people feel discomfort in their own skin.
