tea time

literally what do you do when your boyfriends friend hates you and refuses to be around you. its become a legitimate issue and ive been trying to put my best foot forward, but she REFUSES to even try to "mend" things. (I should add, i know people say this but ive done nothing to her, and we used to be acquaintances. she just doesn't like some behaviors that happened a year ago when i was super depressed - i asked my boyfriend to stay home and not go out, or at least not stay the night and she found that to be an issue.) anyway i havent told my boyfriend to stop being around her or hanging out with her because i feel like thats controlling, but how do i cope with the fact i genuinely hate this girl? shes moving away soon so i wont HAVE to deal with her, but i do genuinely feel like shes an important part of his life and would prefer to not be hated/excluded. how do yall not care about what other people think about you? I feel like it wouldn't bother me if i could at least be in the same room with this bitch without getting weird vibes, or straight up being told im not "allowed" to be included in social events (in public spaces!) because it makes her "uncomfortable."

If i cant fix it, how do i be petty without hurting my boyfriend? i want whats best for him but i cant just sit back and let her be a giant asshole.
