being so radically left compared to those around me is draining. so many people lauding certain media/people as "revolutionary" when they're surface level schlock (at best), too many people that choose to "avoid" speaking about genocide because it's uncomfortable (you probably don't even fathom how privileged you are to not have to acknowledge a genocide), and watching shit get worse every day no matter how much you scream, begging people to listen. it's fucking exhausting. i wish i could take in media that is mid at what it is trying to push for and think it's the best thing ever. i wish i could just stick my head in the sand and not care, but even my lack of empathy having ass apparently cares too much

itβs upsetting that i canβt talk about these issues besides online w/o being told βoh you should become a politicianβ and βi love how passionate you are about thisβ and whatnot. no, itβs just that i care about people besides my own, & i recognize itβs bullshit to be massacred completely and driven out your own home to people who canβt condone you for whatever shitty reason. like this shitβs important & iβm not βdoing / caring too muchβ, just stfu.
i always get told i should be a politician if i "care so much" and it's so annoying. you shouldn't have to be in some sort of political job to justify why i care about other people around the globe

I hate it so much too. Like all the ''leftists'' who deny the Palestinian genocide (among the Congo, Tigray, West Papua New Guinea, etc.) is so fucking annoying. Like I cannot (at current moment) go to protests and physical leftist spaces due to me being a minor but seeing all of these liberals dressing as leftists that deny these genocides online make my blood boil. Like one day when I can actually go to leftist spaces I will find these fuckers and get their fascist blood on my fists.

It is really tiring but I've personally found that irl activism helped me a lot especially in the face of a genocide; most groups that set up protests are pretty accessible and willing to help those who want to attend but have mobility needs/issues. If you ever have the time or ability I'd really recommend it, it's an amazing way to find likeminded people and feel less alone in such devestating times.

once i'm able to drive on my own and get to places with either protests or mutual aid i plan on helping a lot more! i just can't currently due to poor navigation of busses and lack of transport in general 3 i do believe getting involved will help out in many ways though

I get this SO much. And sometimes I wonder, how are some people not outraged at what's happening in the world? How can anyone stand to be apathetic or have little care whilst we're constantly being told that children, their moms, their dads, all their loved ones are dying, and basically everyone around them is dying? It's genuinely baffling to me and so frustrating.

I relate to the feeling of being exhausted because of the fact that things seem to be getting worse all the time. Also, the fact that some fellow "leftists" are denying the genocide of the Palestinian people is very infuriating.
