my life is FUCKING HELL!! my family is super transphobic, they think being trans is an "agenda" and I'm brainwashed. my family at first seemed pretty supportive, my uncle was gay, and one of my mom's friends was a transmasc. so, pretty cool. because I was raised in a supportive environment like this, and I had unregulated access to the internet, I realized I'm trans a lot faster than most trans kids. I had a feeling when I was eight, I knew I was queer when I was nine and started socially transitioning when I was ten. I thought I was non-binary at first, then I leaned more towards Masculine, and then I just went full trans guy. when i started to get exclusively masc my mom started getting conservative, she told me that trans surgeries are a scam and testosterone is poison the female body. which I did research and that shit is just not true. so testosterone only heightens diseases that are more likely for cis males to get and can also cause acne, voice deepening, hair loss, anger, increased sex drive, cholesterol panel changes, enlarged clitoris, increased muscle mass, infertility, and menstrual irregularity. the thing is, trans people KNOW THIS and accept it with open arms. a lot of transphobes think trans men don't want this, but if they didn't want it they WONT GET IT. I'm not saying detransitioners don't exist, I'm saying that there are only 8% detransitioners. A pretty bad thing about long-term testosterone is that it increases the risk of breast cancer, but most trans guys get their breasts removed in the first place. so in simple words, my moms fucking wrong. I've had to hide shit from my mom, she has put me in a position where I have to lie to her, and she is emotionally stunting me. so I'm moving out when I'm 18 and have the time of my life.
