band.....

Yes I'll say it... loud and proud... Im a band kid. I know its very depressing, but its the truth. The problem in my opinion, however, is the LACK of effort put in by these other kids who refuse to be labeled as a band kid. I get it, you need your credit, but come on. If you really didnt want to put in the effort, then don't join.. you can get your credit in another class. With being in the beginner band (learning a new instrument), its hard for our band to not get labeled as "bad" when HALF THE KIDS ARE SLEEPING. The other problem is when our conductor is trying to explain something, some of the kids go ahead and talk to each other all the way across the room. its just this one friend group, in which all of them are super annoying. They bicker like an old married couple. But I did make it into the higher band for next year, so even if they do decide to stay, I wont worry about having to deal with those losers. 

On the topic of new bands, I JUST found out that auditions for jazz band are next week, and I am BEYOND furious. I LOVE jazz, but i've never really played any jazz pieces before, and one of the requirements is to improvise, which takes a lot of knowledge behind music theory. This is my first year ever playing an instrument, and although ive gotten countless compliments from my band directions (bc im awesome ofc) what the fart is music theory. Im kinda stresin ngl

But in band, not saying which band, theres this cute lil guy and hes actually super nice. Although some other people he knows are very disrespectful, hes only rude towards them, and he is aware of his surroundings which is something u dont find with a lot of guys

also gang im really cravin cheesecake rn.. like can we talk about how underrated cheesecake is?? that, or freeze dried skittles which i just ordered off of amazon for liuke $30 and im very hungry plz help.
