So there’s a bill that could pass as soon as tomorrow called KOSA or “Kids Online Safety Act” it would require people to upload their government given ID to platforms in order to access content and censor important information related to the LGTBTQ community, mental health, and reproductive health. It’s been seriously weighing on me as a queer teenager and someone who could lose so much if it passes I’d urge people to call or email their senator because it can’t pass. I and a few others have even had bad mental health episodes because of this looming threat. Please don’t let this pass, I’m hoping to email my senator today.
