hey guys even though i found out about this today we cant let a nonbinary teen get forgotten after a literal hate crime.

Nex Benedict was 16 when they were jumped by 3 cis girls in a bathroom. they later died the next day. no teachers reported the incident and both the three girls and nex got two week suspension. they punished the victim and gave the perpetrators a pass.

all nex got was a hospital trip and an interview after the incident. there were no repercussions for the cis girls.

i personally reside in oklahoma and seeing a queer teen like me get hatecrimed is terrifying. i go to school in oklahoma! im scared!
