Learning a new language

So basically i want to learn a new language to just spend time productively and hopeful be fluent , but i dont know what to learn sooo .. 


idk wht to do now ..

If your goal is for something practical locally to the U.S., I'd go with Spanish.

I like Japanese because it's more relevant to my anime/game interests. I've studied it for just a couple years and still feel like I barely have survival-level language. I was lucky to be able to take a couple semesters of it in college.

Chinese is also a good one for business.

Languages that use entirely different symbols take far more effort to learn before feeling any sense of progress.
