Hey Dudes and Dudettes!
Please allow myself, to introduce... myself...
Hi! My name is Tara and I am the owner of Circa 1980, an online 80s/Vintage resale shop.
I grew up in the 80s
Came of age in the 90s
Graduated college in the 00s
Became a mother and got remarried in the 10s (yeah... we don't talk about the 1st marriage.)
And spent most of the 1st year of the 20s under quarantine - like the rest of the world.
I survived chicken pox, playing outside unsupervised until the street lights came on and riding my bike (and maybe one time driving my dad's lawn mower 🤫) to a broken down gas station, turned candy store, to buy tootsie rolls and mountain dew with my friends.
I've been selling (on the side) on eBay since 2001 and ...20 years later... decided to go "pro" and expand to FB Marketplace and Mercari. My shop is small right now, but am hoping to grow and expand with my own exclusive products/designs one day. My focus is on things I loved from my childhood, but also sprinkled with things from any decade that I just think are "totally radical, dude!".
