Love is really hard

Why is love so hard? People do lie a little when they paint love like living in such a dream, whenever I try to find and express my love something always go wrong, people say I’m to careless to be in love or that I don’t have the ability to love and care about someone, I know that’s not true, but it is really affecting whenever I try to be sweet with someone, their always looking for more of me, but I’m still not prepared for that, I’m kinda scared honestly, but I wanna love and be loved so badly that I’m willing to give EVERYTHING of me just to be appreciated back for someone, why is this so hard???
