OKAY so i have some friends and i feel like they are such shit friends but idk if im just being dramatic
it started with this pair of shoes i own first

i love these shoes because theyr comfy, casual and give me some height
now my friends love to bully me for my height every chance they get and im very insecure about it but i see it as joking around but when i showed them these shoes they told me they were so ugly, they hated them, literally making fun of them. i told them that i thought they were cute and i liked them anyways and they just replied with more insults and telling me i have bad style.
i brushed this off...

i love these shoes because they are my first alt looking platforms and are something i needed for summer
can you guess what happened? yeah they called these ugly too. i wore these to show them when we went to hang out and almost the ENTIRE DAY (and literally every minute of the bus ride to and from) they wouldnt stop calling them ugly and making fun of the fact i had my toes out (like can this dogs thing die down in summer i just wanna be comfortable)
i just dont know what to do like these shoes make me feel happy! with that 2nd pair when i put them on to go meet up with them i was so excited to wear them i LOVED them but once they started my mood instantly deflated and for the first time infront of who i thought were great loving friends i put my mask up and pretended i was fine
this is really sounding like an am i the asshole reddit post but fuck reddit so so its gonna go here with the cool alt babes on here <3
anyways what do i do because i feel like i cant be the same around them now and theyre literally my only friends. i have 3 friends in school and they arent even in my grade so ive been clinging on to them cus otherwise im a literall loner

ok first of all those shoes are SICK. ugly? hell no they look so good and im pretty sure the converse ones are hard to style so if you can wear them i think thats a pretty impressive thing to be proud of. the second ones? they look so cute and comfy! i love the detail of the heel form.
if they said those were ugly is because they dont have VISION. and just looking at how stylish your profile is im sure as hell you know how to wear them good. dont listem to them they are just jealous they cant be as cool as you for that. dont stop wearing them, they are perfectly fine and your friends are just cowards!

the converses can be tricky but i mainly wear them as a comfy pair when im going out but in an all black fit they suit pretty well!

I'm not gonna comfort u or idk, i dont know u but i have been in a s situationship like this so, If this it happens a lot of them dont respecting u and laughing at u, just, they dont like u, and being "friends" with them because u dont have other option is terrible. first, your shoes is sick. if you love it, then their words don't matter. what matters is you happy about it.
second, you gotta confront your friend about it. tell em that you are uncomfortable with their harsh words. if they can't take it, then i suggest you should avoid them. i've been there and trust me, it stings like hell.
lastly, just do whatever the hell you want. it's your life, your choice and your rules. i like your fashion, so pls keep going! ^_^
