Growing Up With An Emo Sister

I am currently emo, and this is most likely due to the fact the both of my older sisters were emo while I was growing up. I vividly remember my sister in 2012 forcing a side part and bangs to truly fulfill her emo desires. Paramore, Sleeping With Sirens and Pierce the Veil constantly blaring from her headphones in the middle of the night when we were both supposed to be asleep.

I never listened to any sort of emo music or was into any type of emo fashion, up until I naturally gravitated towards it. Everyday I thank my sister mentally for growing up emo, because now I have such an appreciation towards the whole culture and sub-genres! XD
