OVERANALYZiNG -- BUBBLE

hibiki was such a well-thought-out character, basic main character traits except for the ONE thing that makes him so unique: his auditory hypersensitivity. ive never seen a character with that trait and i have it too and he can be related to on such a different level. and hibiki meaning "sound" and uta meaning "song" go together so well. kai's name meaning water had a nice ring to it as well. 

the whole plot of the movie is awesome. hibiki hadn't opened up to anyone but uta and that shows how much he cares for her and trusts her.

everyone has almost a negative attitude towards hibiki since he's never really present but when they all run to the edge of the reiyo when shin's ship came back, they very obviously care for him as he's almost like family to all of them. 

hibiki being seemingly an introvert who's later able to open up and connect with his teammates is such a cute detail. being able to connect with uta as she's mostly silent too. polar opposites but also not yk? uta is silent yet outgoing and later being able to speak, still being outgoing. hibiki being silent and timid, and later better communicating with his team.

hibiki's mom died at the bubble fall phenomenon, at the exploded tower. it was 5 years ago when the movie takes place. since hibiki is 18, his mom died when he was 13. (so young :c) but eventually hibiki was able to manage.

residing in a ghost-town version of tokyo, he and his team, the blue blazes, participate in a capture the flag game called tokyo battlekour. its a 5-on-5.
