31. What 3 things do you want to do before you die?
My go-to answer used to be to get married, but lately I've been rethinking that. Now, my three answers are being fluent in another language, getting published, and performing at a concert.
Now there's an interesting question. I suppose I'd rather die than relive my teenage years, reconnect with my ex (Erin, not Kennedy), or have children.
That's also difficult. I don't know if they mean socially or politically or whatever, but I guess that's part of the survey, your own interpretation of the questions. Either way, I've always favored feminism above everything. The first time I can remember encountering sexism was when I was 6, and the first time I faced sexual harassment was when I was 11. It's been a huge problem for me since I was very little, so I can't imagine anything being more important.
The 19..
20's:
The Great Gatsby. I remember not liking it very much.
The Great Depression.
World War II.
Hitchcock movies.
Also Hitchcock movies, but in color this time. Also the Beatles.
Fleetwood Mac.
Guns n' Roses.
Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, all that lovely grunge stuff. My type of music.
Britney, mostly, and MySpace. ("so far," that's cute lol)
2010's:
I'd rather not remember that, to be honest...35. Which decade do you feel the most special connection to and why?
The 60s! I grew up on 60s classic rock and I'm still very into contemporary music history, especially the 60s.
Now this question is just cruel. I know and love way too many old songs to answer this, to the point where I couldn't even answer with my favorite band. The first one that comes to mind, though, is the Beach Boys. They're my dad's favorite band and I have a very special connection with them too, and in fact I even saw them for my birthday one year!
I live in the USA and the president is currently Joe Biden.
I'd want someone more competent and convincing than me to say it, but I'd want them to try to convince him to be pro-Palestine. Or at least endorse someone competent to be the Democratic candidate this year.
Ah, TV channels, remember that? I remember my favorites were Boomerang and the Food Network, but now I don't even really watch anything in the middle of the night because staying up too late makes me paranoid. When I do need to sleep, though, I usually put on some nostalgic cartoons like the Powerpuff Girls or Batman: The Animated Series.
I can't really think of one I "relate" to. Probably Scar or Maleficent, because I too can be as petty and (hopefully) cunty as them.
I was in girl scouts when I was very young. I don't remember anything about it except sitting outside during the summer in Texas and selling cookies. It wasn't fun.
My brother was in boy scouts for a while, and I remember going on a camping trip with him, which wasn't much better.
That's it for now! TTFN!
