Survey Day 3

21. Are you more of a giver or a taker?
To be honest, I really hate rhetoric like this. It implies that some people are behaviorally destined to give or receive more affection in a relationship, in which case, the seemingly exclusive "taking" possession is useless at best and toxic at worse. Unless this is about sex, in which case, both.

22. Do you make your decisions with an open heart/mind?
I try to. It's at least more open than the people around me, living in a conservative-leaning part of southeast Texas.

23. What is the most physically painful thing that has ever happened to you?
Back in September of last year, I had menstrual cramps so painful I had to go to the emergency room. My periods are usually painful and keep me bedridden at worst, but it had never been this bad. In all honesty, the ER was pretty useless and just told me to take care of myself. I'll probably be going to urgent care next time.

24. What is the most emotionally painful thing that has ever happened to you?
Probably when my high school best friend talked shit about my (then) girlfriend behind her back and acted like I was the bad guy for telling her. It was painful for a lot of reasons that I'll probably get into later on in this survey.

25. Who have you hugged today?
No one, I think. Maybe my brother once or twice.

26. Who has done something today to show they care about you?
Jory showed me some writing she was working on and asked my advice on it :)

27. Do you have a lot to learn?
Clearly.

28. If you could learn how to do three things just by wishing and not by working what would they be?
I'd learn fluent Spanish, ASL, and French.

29. Which do you remember the longest: what other people say, what other people do, or how other people make you feel?
How they make me feel, definitely. I'm more likely to remember the general vibe of what someone said or did rather than the thing itself.

30. What are the key ingredients to having a good relationship?
Trust, communication, and honesty.

That's it for now! TTFN!
