tough times

I've been  applying for jobs going on two months now. I call every job many times a week. all just to get a update on my application. still no call back from any of them. and I  might be that I have no work experience but, I'm clearly eager and ready to learn any and everything. I'm being persistent by calling them showing them how ready I am. but nothing seems to be working. I would resort to going to school but school was never my thing in the first place. what should I do?!!?
