"loading screens" are dumb

Yeah, I'm talking about when people have profiles with a "loading screen," which is just a GIF or image that covers the entire page for 3 seconds before fading. If you have half a brain cell, you should understand it has no functionality. It doesn't even prevent the page from being seen unloaded, the loading screen is usually the LAST THING THAT LOADS!

So really, what's the purpose of delaying people from seeing your profile for three whole seconds? Do you really find that "aesthetic?" Why do you want to see the same image/GIF for three seconds when you're checking your profile? 

Just a pet peeve of mine, I just can't stand them...
