Tips for Trans FTM People

Hey guys !! I thought some people might be able to use these tips, so here you go!

First Off: Food

For foods that lower estrogen and boost testosterone we have:

Almonds
Bananas
Beans
Brazil Nuts
Broccoli
Brussel sprouts
Cabbage
Cashews
Cauliflower
Garlic
Green Tea
Kale
Mushrooms
Red Grapes
Turnips

Second Off: Voice

For your voice to sound more masculine/deep theres a few tips but the main tips I have are:

Hum at a normal level for your voice
Keep humming and tip your head back to look up
Now bring your head down and lower your hum
When your chin touches your chest you should be at your lowest hum
Repeat until your normal level hum is as low as you like it
Now talk and be happy

Third Off: Apperance

For facial appearance you can use contouring to your advantage if you have makeup available. With this I dont recommend to use tutorials and just try to contour your natural facial structure because most tutorials go off of their own facial structure which wont help you a lot. Additionally, you can add color to your eyebrows as guys typically have thicker and more full eyebrows. For chest, layers are your best friend. Try to layer clothing like thinner jackets or 2 shirts at the same time. Of course there is the obvious binder but since most people dont have a binder you can use 2 sport bras. Please do be careful with these as it can potentially be harmful if you wear it for too long. As soon as it starts to hurt you should take them off immediately and never wear bras that are too small for you/not your size.

Fourth: Stance

For your posture, stand more upright and look confident. Not only because guys stereotypically are confident and out there, but for your own confidence too. Even if you aren’t confident with your looks yet, it gives yourself the kick you need.

Fifth: Name and Pronouns

For your name, its normal to have a few trial and error experiences. You probably wont keep the name you first used and thats perfectly fine!! Pick out a few names you like and try them out, you‘ll notice when you find one you like! For pronouns you can definitely try asking your irl/online friends to call you a he/him and use the name you picked out. It usually makes you feel better about yourself as a whole :)

Sixth: Additional Info and Help

Last but not least, encourage yourself. Look yourself in the mirror and give yourself compliments. Youre a great dude. Keep doing what youre doing. Im there for you :)
